EXPRESS ENTRY TO CANADA
The CRS scores of all profiles in the pool will be updated automatically before the next invitation round after the updates. This could take up to two weeks.
To accommodate the increased need for skilled professionals, the Express Entry System was designed to expedite the processing of Federal Skilled Workers, Federal Trade Workers, and Canadian Experience Class applicants.
The Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRCC) uses a detailed rating system to choose individuals for immigration to Canada. It is not a separate immigration policy, but rather combines three separate immigration programmes into one:
- Federal Skilled Worker Class
- Federal Skilled Trades Class
- Canadian Experience Class
Provinces and territories can also recruit candidates from the Canada Express Entry Pool through their Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) to meet local labor market needs.
The system is completely electronic, online and has put a stop to paper applications for greater efficiency.
Minimum requirement to enter the Express Entry Pool
- Qualify for at least one of the immigration programmes i.e., Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Trade Program, Canadian Experience Class
- Get your Language results English/French
- Get your Education Credentials assessed
